🌊🏹The BMS Tigers took on Myrtle Beach, SC for the NASP World/Open Championship — and they didn’t just face competition… they faced 4-6 feet ocean waves, sunburns, and even shark sightings!🦈 After rinsing off the salt and sand, our archers got down to business, scoring an impressive 1,680 points and placing 4th in the IBO 3D competition. But they didn’t stop there — they came back strong with their best score of the season: 3,366 points, earning 2nd place for bullseye!🎯🔥 What an unforgettable finish to an incredible season! We’re so proud of our Tiger Archery Team!💜💛 Congratulations!🏆🐅

🐯💜Faculty Feature Friday💛✨ We’re thrilled to welcome Mrs. Sarah Cone to our BMS Tiger family as our new 7th grade ELA teacher!🎉📚 As a 2021 ULM graduate and 3.5 years of being an educator, Mrs. Cone brings passion, energy, and a heart for middle schoolers to our campus!💜 📣Why she’s excited to be a BMS Tiger: “I knew from the moment I stepped into BMS for an interview that this is where I wanted to teach until I retire. I can’t wait to be part of a school that’s all about making a difference while also knowing how to have some fun along the way!” 🌟Favorite thing about being an educator: “I love discovering what makes each student unique and helping them feel seen, valued, and like they truly belong. BMS 8th Grade Academic Assembly is TODAY, Friday, May 16 at 8:00 a.m. in the Benton Middle School gym. Recognition for all A's & B's all year, various clubs and organizations, and PBIS drawings! Parents & Families are welcome to attend and can enter through the BMS gym doors. Seating for all guests will be on the gym floor. 💜💛
